The story is about a woman named Leah, who finds out she has been diagnosed with cancer and must die leaving her son and husband behind. There is no lesson or class in life that can prepare us for life-changing moments like this, so we rely on the presence and comfort of the nurse. In this story, Elizabeth was the nurse who gave her patient comfort and ultimately allowed her to die peacefully. During my last clinical day, I was in the level 2 nursery and I worked with a 33 week and 5-day old baby girl who was born at 27 weeks. In the Interesting Narrative of Olaudah Equiano, Olaudah depicts slave trade in the 1700’s for what it really was. In the narrative, he speaks on kidnappers, the brutal treatments and hardships slaves had to endure, and even being free was still an extremely worrisome life to live. The narrative is questionable because some things just don 't add up but is accurate for the most part. It did help in fact, abolish slavery because it was one of the first slave narratives.
