Deborah has taken steps to improve her accuracy in her daily entry. She takes any mistake personally and strives to complete her tasks error free. Even though the results were higher than the goal, the results were influenced by a change in our processing of freight which caused these records to be created in Image Now much earlier than before even though no invoice was available for processing. This added 15 to 25 days of processing time from creation of the record to confirmation in M2M.…
Etowah’s revitalization and development initiative began as a result of various occurrences. First, Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co. (L&N), the reason Etowah was created, decided to pull up its stakes in 1974 and leave Etowah (Lambe, 2008, p. 55). This move by L&N resulted in the closure of many railroad jobs, leaving many men to find work elsewhere. This is when Etowah made the decision to bring the manufacturing industries into town, which would ultimately create more jobs for residents. Apparel and textile industries in Etowah would be successful for a while until Etowah’s largest manufacturing employer, Beaunit Fibers, left town leaving 1,000 local residents without jobs (Lambe, 2008, p. 55).…

A.C.O for INOVA First I would like to thank you for giving me this chance to share my opinion and finding on this issue of forming an A.C.O. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (C.M.S) defines an Accountable Care Organization as a "a healthcare organization characterized by the coordinated care efforts of hospitals, physician groups, insurance agencies, and other healthcare stakeholders who seek quality improvement while being accountable for the cost, efficiency, and overall care of a defined group of patients ” (A.C.O - C.M.S, 2015). The goal of an A.C.O is to “deliver high quality care” and reduce health care expenditure by “avoiding unnecessary duplication of services and preventing medical errors” (A.C.O - C.M.S, 2015). A.C.O…

This plan encompasses recruitment and promotion within the SOA as well as the Departments of the SOA. Additionally, the SOA has instituted an Alaska Statute 39.28.020(a)(12) which enacts a specifically written EEO and AA plan. The SOA EEO and AA plan is summarized in the 2015 Progress Report on EEO and AA in the Alaska State Government document. This document specifically itemizes the differences in hiring and promotion practices among its Departments. This report also explains that the percentages used in determining the application of the plan are up to the executives, managers, and supervisors; ones who must apply it appropriately (Alaska, 2015).…
I appreciate the accountability that Proven Experience officers. As a health care provider in hospice care for many years in the community in which I live, satisfaction and successful measurable outcomes where the aim of our non-profit program. Unfortunately, this was not the same game for the for-profit organizations that came in and took over the industry in our community, putting the ‘little guys’ out of business with no regard for our community members. Now as an educator I find the same to be true, at the level of being an instructor, with supportive relationships with my students, the same cannot be said of about the instructors and the Deans that manage them.…
In many discussions with my administrator, I have come to realize that teacher attendance is becoming a problem at our school. In the past the teachers have had to find their own substitute, but a new program now does it for them. It is much easier to just submit an absence as opposed to having to call a list of potential substitutes until one agrees to fill in. In an attempt to encourage teachers to attend school whenever possible and recognize the teachers who have a good attendance record, I created the Postman award.…
The Mabo Decision was the result of Eddie Koiki Mabo 's efforts to campaign for Aboriginal civil and land rights, a response to the discrimination Aboriginal communities have been subjected to in their own land, beginning from the arrival of the First Fleet and continuing to the present day despite numerous efforts. Prior to Mabo, the policies of Terra Nullius and Crown Land were seen as an unfair violation, and no representatives from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community decided to litigate it in court until Mabo and others from Murray Island took initiative. Eddie Mabo 's campaign for civil rights succeeded through legislation such as the Mabo Decision, Native Title Act, and the Wik Decision. Their campaign was highly effective in the way of Aboriginal civil rights; the Mabo case and its subsequent outcomes became significant for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.…
As of today I continue to be an EOP freshman who is the first from my family to attend college and the first to be on the right path of obtaining a bachelor’s degree. To be honest, I am proud to be an EOP student at CSUN not because they give me a small amount of money but because I like the idea of knowing that I am representing the impossible. As you know, people like me are not meant to go to college or even finish high school. Those basic assumptions are made based on our families’ social class or ethnicity. I know we all come from low income families that know nothing about college and who’s kids only grow up to learn that they must start working to help their families economically.…
Chinese ejiao's ( i.e. donkey gelatin) producers are asking for a government subsidy on donkey production. In this work, we will see if this subsidy should or not be applied. In this market there is a market failure (when a market doesn't work well, leading to misallocation of resources), created by an externality (a cost on third parties not accounted on the price definition of a good or service1 ).…
