Bandura’s Social-Cognitive Theory also describes that Anthony learned to locate his toys through a model. The most likely model was his mother who demonstrated that his toys were in a certain closet and that they will be there until he wants to play with them. It also can be interpreted, that his knowledge of the location of the toys can be described through his observation of his sibling placing her toys in the same closet and keeping them there thus receiving praise from the parental unit.
Skinner’s Operant Conditioning- Also, the action of putting his toys away where they were found is a reference that through reinforcement from the parental unit, he learned that once he put his toys away once he was finished. DOES IT PROMOTE EYE TRACKING, LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT, SKILL DEVELOPMENT, ETC? The toy generally would promote fine motor skills. Anthony needed to have the ability to grasp the small controls on the remote and hold them and the controller while directing the car’s movement. Although his ability to track has become fairly well developed, it did promote his ability to watch the car while controlling it. Another skill that toy promoted was gross motor skills. He needed the ability to chase the car while he was playing with the car. If he was not able to run or walk or hold the controller, he would not have been able to play with the
