With the start of the school year comes a time to reunite with friends. A lot of the socializing occurs at lunch, Asheville Middle School’s one time when friends can interact. However questions are being raised on why students may not be allowed to sit with friends at lunch on a daily basis, as school administration has made a decision to only allow students to sit with their class. Currently the only days that students can sit together are on the days after they have gotten five complements which is random. This has caused lunch to lose its purpose as the one social time.
