Clients Requirements
One of our aims as Munster Manufacturing’s consultancy team is to ensure that we keep our client happy and that we meet their requirements which are set out below:
• To understand what consultants do: First and foremost, our client needs to understand what consultants do otherwise they will constantly struggle to understand our purpose in the organisation throughout our time there. Our team will answer any questions or queries that the organisation may have before the project takes place.
• Commitment to a successful collaboration: Our client needs to know that the consultancy team is committed to this collaboration being a success. (???)

We believe this is the best model to use because it is based around the idea that the internal dynamics of the organisation need to be the primary consideration when formulating strategy (Biggs 2010). This will be implemented by gathering all of the company directors and senior managers and conducting a brainstorming session in order to define the company’s values, mission statement and ethics. Brainstorming is a technique that facilitates group creativity and by acting in concert to enhance each other’s creativity, a group can achieve more than the individual working alone (Wickham et al 2008:208). The use of these focus groups will allow for a common understanding of what is desired for the company. It is important that this small number of individuals come together to develop a sense of commitment, a common purpose, common performance goals and that each individual is accountable (Biggs 2010). Organisation Development (Team Development) will help Munster Manufacturing to establish and define the mission statement and vision of the company to focus on what the company is about and what it believes in. Organisation Development also relates to company values in which Munster Manufacturing need to clearly define for the successful future of the business.
