Rick Kenyon purchased a painting from a Salvation Army thrift store, which was painted by a known artist by the name of Bill Gollings. The painting was worth between $8,000 and $15,000, but was sold for $25. The painting belonged to Abel’s late aunt, Taylor, which rightfully was passed onto Abel as the sole heir, along with the other inheritance. Abel and his wife went to Taylor’s house to clear out the belongings, and donate anything that they did not want to keep. The created boxes for the items to be donated and the ones he wanted to be shipped to his house. The box with the painting was accidently sent to the thrift store rather than to Abel’s house, which Abel noticed soon when the boxes arrived. He also learned that it was sent to the
