Preparing for a Breast Augmentation Revision

Create an At-Home Recovery Area

Patients should set up an at-home recovery area, placing everything they may need within easy reach. Many women decide to set their recovery area up in their living room. TV trays are ideal for placing everything within reach.

Items that should be placed on the TV trays include:

Healthy snacks (i.e., fresh fruit and vegetables, granola bars, etc.) Ice packs and loose ice in an easy to open cooler Beverages Disposable cups, plates and silverware 2 garbage cans (one for trash, one in case of nausea that leads to vomiting) Facial tissues Baby wipes Lip balm Remote controls (extra batteries) Cell phone and charger - to eliminate the need to bend over, the charger should be plugged in and placed on the TV tray, ready to be
