2015 Open Enrollment (ACA)
Planned and Successful- Our plan was to be fully equip to answer all related questions about the Affordable Care Act. Unlike the previous two open enrollments, people are more aware of the tax penalty for not having health insurance. That being said, we anticipated those uninsured would make appointments prior to November 1st to ensure their spots during open enrollments. I think a high percentage on those who made appointments filled them. They either enrolled in an insurance plan or qualified for an exemption to “exempt” them from paying the tax penalty.
Unplanned and Successful- With more shortage of staff then in the past, I believe we returned more calls and fulfilled as many appointments as we could
