OVCA is seeking a five-year charter renewal. During the next five years, OVCA plans to focus on improvement of current programs, rather than rapid growth or diversification, through continued efforts in strategic planning. OVCA has developed a culture of strategic planning which includes critical data review, honest reflection, and thoughtful action plans. As part of the strategic planning process and responsible governance, the OVCA Board sets annual goals to direct the school on how to achieve the stated mission and vision. In addition to the requirements set forth by the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board and the State Department of Education, the Board identifies areas of improvement and sets annual goals regarding student achievement,
