You have a very good discussion. Am glad you mentioned burnout. Burnout in a workplace is not a good thing in any way. It has a lot of bad outcomes. It could lead to job dissatisfaction, nurse turnover and an unhealthy working environment. With that being said, nurse mangers are expected to create a good work environment to avoid nurse burnout which will in turn enhance productivity and good patient outcome.
