For the past two years, Matthew Lindley has been under my supervision at Kroger. He started as a bagger, and a few months later, he received a promotion to cashier. It was shortly after, Matthew was then promoted to the customer service desk.
It was due to Matthew's dedication and striving to get his job done that he received these promotions. I work with Matthew on a daily basis, and he consistently exhibits the potential to do more. He is a hard worker and very inquisitive. Matthew is not only a key employee to the daily operations at our Kroger, he is also a valued member of the Front End management team.

In these scenarios, Matthew has handled each one with delicacy, proper etiquette, and logical decisions. When a challenge presents itself, he shows a sense of urgency and assists me and others in its handling .
I have seen Matthew's potential and while he is a strong and reliable employee, his future plans lie elsewhere. Matthew exhibits the ability to do what it takes to get the job done and the patience to handle anything. It is with these traits and so many others that will help him down his new path in life, as a teacher. Matthew's intellect will also help in the many years down the road.
It is with pleasure that I am writing this recommendation letter for Matthew Lindley, and it has been a pleasure working with him for the past two years. I hope this helps him gain acceptance into graduate
