In response to your recent correspondence regarding travel business deductions, tax preparers have a duty to file tax returns with accurate and complete information. Furthermore, under federal tax law, trade or business deductions are disallowed if the taxpayer cannot substantiate the deductions. Unfortunately, since you do not have substantiation regarding your business travel expenses, the travel expenses are disallowed and may not be applied to your tax return.
