Marcus is a 17-year-old son of Col Henderson, the 88th Force Support Squadron Commander at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Col Henderson is a single father and he and Marcus recently moved to Ohio from Maryland. The environment was overwhelming for Marcus. His new life was a complete change of pace; his parents recently divorced after 21 years of marriage and his father won custody; he was having a difficult time making friends and was often being bullied as the “new kid”; and he was attending Oakwood High School, a nationally ranked school that was more academically challenging than his previous high school. Marcus’ behavior during the month began to reflect the change. For the most part, his behavior was characterized by strange ideas that often took on a supernatural tone.
