Students will demonstrate accurate, clear, and precise comprehension of different musical elements when presented with an audio example. Goal 2. Students will express ideas and common attributes in works of the same era and evaluate differences between works of different eras.

Goal 3. Students will provide accurate, relevant, and precise analysis of different styles.

Goal 4. Students will locate works, cultural movements and demonstrate awareness of context through history.

F. Assessment of Learning
Grades will be assigned as follows: 90-100% A The average of all test scores will 80-90% B Determine the Semester Final 70-80% C 60-70% D 0-59% F

ALL tests are administered online through EKU Bbd.
You have six tests: Part One, Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six
Test Six serves as your “Final Exam”. It is NOT cumulative!
All tests carry equal value in determining your semester average.
Final grades are based on the AVERAGE of all six scores.

Exams are available online from 12:00AM until 11:59 PM of test days. Class will NOT meet on test days. You may use that time for testing.
