Discussion: Mr. Bunkelman suggested holding a fair that involves local construction trades businesses to see what type of input and/or assistance they can provide and offer them a partnership with Monroe Public Schools to help move this program forward.

Everly congratulated Monroe High School on their production of “The Little Shop of Horrors”; their performance was impeccable.
Mrs. Everly, Mrs. Mentel, and Mr. Bunkelman attended the Legislative Breakfast at the MCISD this past Monday. Mrs. Everly was able to have conversations with legislators about school funding, Mrs. Mentel spoke about charter schools, and Mr. Bunkelman spoke about the recent senate bills on concealed weapons in schools.
On November 18, the Ward Olson Turkey Trot will be held at Custer School. The event is open to the entire Monroe community with many frozen turkeys as prizes!
Mrs. Everly congratulated the Transportation Department and First Vehicle for being awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving a pass rate of 95% or higher for school bus safety inspections.
