EVENT ONE: 1/5/18 at 1440 arrived at Crystal City Middle School, Crystal City, and met with Joshua Thomas Jr. Joshua came in appeared sanitary and dress appropriate, no visible sign of neglect or abuse. J appeared friendly and active where he said he is 8 yo and in 3rd grade.
J claimed that he lives with his Aunt: Sarah Thomas, Uncle Michael Thomas and Dad Joshua Thomas Sr. J described what “safe” is and claimed that he is safe at home. J understood of discipline and said that dad only ground him when he is “naughty” but no spanking or physical harm done.
J was then inquired about drug and alcohol where J said “drug is bad and you don’t want to do it.” J was able to draw pictures of “weed,” “a roll” & “BugLight Beer.” J then describe weed is the “green-brown color.” J claimed that Dad’s girlfriend, Stephanie often smoke weed at her house when J is over to visit. J then stated that uncle drink beer and smoke cigarettes, but uncle does not act unusual when drink-smoke. J denied seeing dad smoke week.
