On October 17, 2015, at approximately 200hours, I contacted with a subject/s reference to a burglary call. The subject/s later identify his self as John GORDON. J. GORDON said that he came out from work and found out that his house were broken into and ransacked. J. GORDON notice and told me that just some personal property were missing from his residence. J. GORDON TV and his wife’s diamond ring that where located on the bedroom dresser.
I proceed to ask him questions from the property that were missing. J. GORDON said that he just bought the television two months ago and that the television was located on the living room in a black stand, which was on the scene. GORDON told me that when he got back from work, he also notice the window from the front door was broken, and saw some pry marks on the door jamb. Also that he contacted R. GORDON at his work to let her know and that R. GORDON told him to check the dresser to see if the ring was there because it has some sentimental value to her, and notice that was gone. Also that J. GORDON called his neighbors and ask if they notice something but they did not notice nothing. And then he proceeded to call the police.
I proceed to ask him if he did touch something and he said to me that “no”. I notice a glass vase on the top of J. GORDON wife’s dresser was moved. And let J. GORDON that I was going to take the vase as evidence and processed for fingerprints. I noticed J. GORDON that I was going to dust the broken window on the front door in order to check if I could find some fingerprints on it.
I asked him if their neighbors told him something of the crime. J. GORDON told me that unfortunately neither of their neighbors saw or heard anything unusual at that moment on his residence. I asked him about his wife and if he cheeked if the door were locked when he left the residence. J. GORDON replied that his wife R. GORDON left the residence approximately ten minutes before he did. J. GORDON told me that he always check the doors and make sure that are locked when he leave his residence. Also he said to me that the suspect/s have entered from the front and leave the residence from the same way
