Based in Houston Drexler’s Bar-B-Que is part of that long beloved Texas tradition of slow smoked Bar-B-Que. Even with all vast chain restaurants there always seems to be a local favorite in every community and in Houston’s Third Ward that is Drexler’s. With its origins way back in the late 1940’s with the great-uncle of the current owners. While it has changed hands and name, more than once, it has still maintain its family origins and pride. They have maintained their values and connection with the community, while maintaining their status as an effective organization.

When James Drexler and his mother took over Green’s Bar-B-Que from his Uncle, did they imagine that it would have lasted so long and ben so effective. From its humble origins by his great Uncle as simple shack. James and his mother have been able to only maintain but raise up a Texas institution in their own neighborhood in Houston. By maintaining the high quality and community interaction, along with trade family secrets. They have been able to lead a successful local organization, in one the hardest fields of business.
