Google is currently attempting to target the entire market all at once, rather than perfecting their product for a specific user base. As a result, many consumers who are from a different market can see Google Glass as just a “dumbed down” version of a smartphone that could be worn over the eyes. There is no additional benefit or real incentive for the consumer market, which appears to be the company’s biggest weakness in its business model.
