Kepak Group, is an Irish based company, which is one of Europe’s leading food innovators who are engaged in processing and marketing a full range of meat proteins in varied formats and presentations. Global Fruit was formed in 2009, bringing together industry specialists from a variety of backgrounds, Global Fruit is able to provide experience in importing, exporting and serving the fresh produce community both in Ireland and Europe. Based in the heart of Ireland they endeavour to keep in touch with the wholesale market, packers and the general public.

However during the summer that I was on placement, due to the high temperatures which Ireland was experiencing, the products which Musgrave were receiving were in fact not of highest standard and in fact Musgrave were receiving complaints from customers. For these reasons, as with Kepac, it was considered imperative that an investigation was carried out without
