CASE 1: Gestalt Therapy : Empty Chair Technique
Problem- This case is of a lady. Her problem is this that her husband is in a Private Job which keeps him very busy and she feels very frustrated. So she comes for a counseling session.
Lady tells the counselor about her problem: My family includes me, my husband and our two kids of 6 and 9 yrs respectively. I don’t know why I feel so alone and frustrated. I am not able to control my frustration at times I become angry most of the time. I feel very disappointed with my life. When counsellor asked why you feel alone lady was looking restless. She don’t want to say much but answered my husband is so occupied he don’t give time to family. Children wants to go out with us.

Case 2: Exaggeration Exercise
This case is of a Boy who have completed his MBA and started working from last 3 months.
Counsellor starts conversation- Hi, Keshav Why you are here? Keshav made a reply to improve my self-confidence and to come out of fear. Counsellor said ok lets’s talk about your Job. Keshav replied everything is ok don’t you want to know about my family.
Counselle Behaviour- He was making exaggerate movements. Movement of hand was much. He said whenever I am in fear my palm gets swelled.
Counsellor- well, why your hands is coming up to your face. Why you want to hide your face. Counsellor was trying to initiate contact with inner expressions and body language. I guess when I lack confidence at high level or whenever I am very much stressed out I do that. Counsellor asked are you satisfied with your job.
Counselle- Here pressure is much and my team lead always make me stressful. I am thinking to change my job. He was looking very nervous through his expressions. It is difficult and stressful to survive in company in this
