On 10/12//16 at 4:32pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 2711 Beal Drive on a dog being held. I arrived at the location and spoke to complainant Avon Andres. Ms. Avon advised that the dog was loose, so to prevent the dog from getting hurt she got the dog and held it to I arrived. I place the dog in my van and transported it to Franklin County Animal Shelter. Dog owner Jennifer McGee-Cooper redeemed the dog on 10/15/16. Ms. McGee-Cooper did not show proof of a current dog license or vaccinations. I issued Ms. McGee-Cooper violations for failure to license and failure to vaccinate.
