Case Study: Florida Institute Of Technology

Decent Essays
Florida Institute of Technology stands out as one school you can't overlook. Florida Tech is listed among the Fiske Guide's "Engineering/Top Technical Institutes" College A-List in Engineering. Which makes it one of the best schools to go to because they are highly accredited. If I did choose this school I will need 32 credits hours for my freshman year. I will need to take 32 credit hours for my sophomore year. I will need 33 credit hours for my Junior year. Then I will just need 30 more credits for my senior year to finally receive my Bachelors degree. So total it will require me to take 127 credits to get my software engineering degree within 4 years. Which is why i could see myself going to F.I.T because it doesnt require alot of credits

Most would say the best solution would be to build a bigger parking lot or parking garage, which is…

My mother, Annette MacRitchie, made the life changing decision to come to TWU from Ontario. In 1985, she had the privilege of being awarded the Terry Fox Scholarship, which she could choose to use at any Canadian University. She chose to attend Trinity because at that time it was the only Christian university in Canada. It turns out she never moved back to Ottawa, and the bonds made at Trinity have survived the test of time. To this day, she still tells me it was the best decision she made in her younger years.…

While researching Prairie State college, a two year, suburban community college that was founded in 1957; I came across some concerning information. According to the statistics provided by Collegescorecard.ed.gov, Prairie State College consistently ranks lower than the national median. For instance, only 40 percent of P.S.C’s students return after their first year of attending this is significantly lower than the national median by 69 percent. In addition to the institution having a graduation rate of 15 percent, the average salary after attending prairie state college is an alarming amount of 29,200 dollars. After reading this I began to question Prairie State’s productivity since the U.S. Census Bureau reported the national median in 2013…

The objectives of the exercise (as far as this thesis work is concerned) were to demonstrate networked communications in a distributed autonomous vehicle system, and to demonstrate highbandwidth communications at long range using ScanEagle as a data communications relay. The experiments were conducted at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB) where a section of the base has airspace over water. Of particular use, a short waterway between land and a barrier reef formed a simulation of a riverine waterway for the USV, SeaFox.
