My business which would be called the FF Facial Defense. This company would be designing a better SCBA, Self Containing Breathing Apparatus, face mask and would be located in the state of Pennsylvania As a firefighter I have seen turn out gear that was able to withstand up to five hundred degrees for five minutes or 1,200 degrees of heat for 8 minutes. However, I have learn from my fire academy instructor and from pictures that our face mask is not able to withstand 450 degrees of heat, but will start to bubble and holes will start to form. Which for any firefighter is pretty much a death sentence. The market is continuing to make turn out gear better, lighter, and able to withstand the rising heat surrounding us, but no one is doing

Once a way was found how to make the mask stronger I would then want to find a way to build into the mask some of the tools that we carry already. This would include a gas meter, radio, pack tracker, flashlight, and the thermal imaging camera. I would then want to add a few others tools such as a small computer screen in one of the corner that would be able to monitor the firefighter vital signs and relay the information back to the EMS team outside so if the firefighter vital signs are at a dangerous level then they could tell them to get …show more content…
So with that said this type of business would protect me if the company or I would ever be sued. For if the company was to be sued then the court can only take my company property and not my personal property. The same could be said if I personally was to be sued then my company assets can not be touched. Of course in most cases of good things there is always limits and Limited Liability Companies are no exceptions. For there are certain times, “ in which a person acting as an llc member or manager may end up liable to the llc, other members or managers, or outsiders.
