1. Who is Erma Fay Stewart?
Erma Fay Stewart is a 30-year-old mother of two who lives in a small town of Hearne in Texas. She was arrested on a drug bust that she claims she was not a part of. Unfortunately, that did not make a difference with law enforcement and she was thrown in jail anyways.
1. What was the case against her?
The case against her involved 27 other individuals who were arrested in a Hearne drug bust. This drug bust was an undercover operation that focused on cocaine. The operation in my personally opinion was inconclusive, because there was not enough evidence to make 27 different arrests.
2. What happened to her?
Erma Fay Stewart was then arrested and a bond of 70 thousand dollars was placed on her. She then had to share

The 10 thousand dollars could have helped her with her children and to pay bills and instead it went to pay for her to be released on a crime that she didn’t commit. Another reason why I believe justice was not served was the fact that there was no real evidence proving Regina had connections with the cocaine drug bust. “Real evidence consists of fingerprints or DNA linking the suspect to the crime, stolen property, clothing worn by the victim, documents, photographs of the victim or the crime scene, guns or knives used in the crime, and other tangible items.” If only her court appointed lawyer investigated her case further proving her innocence it could have saved her time away from her children and money.
4. Which court actor do you view as most responsible for her outcome? Explain your answer based on the video content and course materials
I believe Regina Kelly’s court appointed lawyer is most responsible for the outcome of her case. He is the reason why she felt that she had to pay the bond amount, instead of fighting to clear her name. Like most court appointed lawyers he had a large case load and dis what he could for his clients. Regina Kelly would have been better off if she was able to hire a defense attorney to fight to clear her name.

Case Study of a DJ: James Brown By Alvin Wilson Funky Drummer: There is a section where James Brown, the drummer and the sax come together in a beautiful and interesting manner. This portion of the song is from 3:38-3:56. It has that infectious riff. This portion when looped to create a chorus would surely get the crowd going incessantly. The beginning of the track which had the drummer hitting the rims (rim shot) with the electric guitar intro and the organ joining in later would make for a great intro to any song.…

Martha Stewart an American businesswoman, writer, former fashion model, and television personality star; in the early 2000’s Martha Stewart was convicted of charges related to the ImClone insider trading affair and was sentenced to prison. Even though Martha Stewart was not a member of the biotech company ImClone, I believe the charges that were proposed and set in the case are fair and justified, because Martha acted upon a tip from her broker, and then after she lied to investigators about why she sold her share of ImClone stock right before the stock price plunged. First we have to know what exactly is insider trading. Insider trading refers to “the illegal practice of a shareholder in a public company who buys and or sells stocks in that…

    Andrew And Hannah Summary

While reading the article, “Andrew and Hannah”, by Pamela Colloff, the one thing I was kept thinking was that all this evidence was very circumstantial. Every piece of evidence they were holding against hannah made no sense, and they could not make scario that fit Hannah’s personality. I do firmly believe that Hannah is innocent meaning that she did not kill her son, but unfortunately she was found guilty by a judge and jury. This made me very upset and I feel deeply sorry that hannah had to go through this process. There were many false stories that depicted Hannah as being as cold-hearted child killer when that is not the case.…

A Murder on a Sunday Morning is a documentary that follows the trial of 15 year old Brenton Butler in order to prove his innocence by displaying the ethical issues behind the case. Brenton Butler was accused for murdering Maryann Stephens who was walking with her husband to their hotel room after breakfast, when he supposedly approached Ms. Stephens and demanded for her purse at gun point, then proceeded to lift his gun and shot her in the face, leaving Mr. Stephens as the eye witness to the crime. When questioned by detectives, Mr. Stephens describes the shooter to be a tall, skinny built black male wearing a dark shirt and shorts, and a fishing hat. Police who were surveying the area spotted Brenton Butler who coincidentally fit the description. Brenton, who was on his way to apply at a local Blockbuster store was told by police of a murder that happened nearby, and was asked to go to the police station to answer questions about what he may have seen; however, the 15 year old ended up in the back of a…
