"Just like all politics is local, I guess drug investigations are local," said Dan Linskey, the former Boston Police Chief.
Linskey has watched the capture, escape and recapture of Mexican drug lord, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman closely; the case started right here in Boston.
"The entire case started with a Boston police detective and an FBI agent in the Boston office. The detective had developed an informant and had convinced the informant to go forward and to work in an undercover capacity with him," explained Linskey.
