Roger’s mission was to empower his client, Gloria. Dr. Rogers came across very approachable with a calming, caring demeanor. This is strength. Dr. Rogers utilized this strength to build a relationship with Gloria in this session. He was soft spoken, an active intent listener, and empathic to Gloria’s needs and desires. In addition, Rogers seemed to be analyzing and evaluating everything Gloria was sharing. Feedback was slower, however it had cognitive intent. Rogers tone remained calm throughout the session, I presume somewhat monotone. I believe there was an underlying intention to his behavior such as, relationship building and setting the mood, he accomplished this. Dr. Rogers and Gloria appeared to immediately bond, he was
