Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. Children in the Autism spectrum often communicate, interact, behave, and learn in ways that are different from most other children. The cognitive thinking of a child within the ASD spectrum can range from gifted to severely challenged. Many people think their is a correlation between children being diagnosed with Autism and vaccinations, but their is no correlation between them. Vaccines do not cause autism.
According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) there is no link between vaccines and autism. A 2013 study by CDC found no evidence to suggest that vaccines cause autism. The study examined the number of antigens from vaccines given to children during the first two years of life. The study show the same number of antigens in children with ASD and children without ASD.

The first study ever done that tried to find the link between vaccines and autism was done by gastroenterologist Andrew Wakefield, MD, and 12 other authors. They claimed that they found evidence, in many of the 12 cases they studied, of measles virus in the digestive systems of children who had exhibited autism symptoms after MMR vaccination, though in the paper they stated that they could not demonstrate a causal relationship between MMR vaccination and autism, but Dr. Wakefield suggested that their was a relationship between the MMR and autism. His study caused panic and their was many studies done to find this link. No reputable study confirmed Wakefield’s findings; instead, many well-designed studies have found no link between MMR and
