o Provide a brief introduction about the city and why you chose it.
I wanted a city with a high population, in order to have more possibility in its info-structure. That the same time I did not want a well-known city that is constantly being talked about or well known. I found the city Deerfield in Illinois, though Deerfield hasn’t have a massive population it is next to Chicago and connected to it’s with 2 railways. o What, if anything, makes this city vulnerable with regard to climate change?
City in the north are always vulnerable to some sort of climate change, since during the winter months these city experience freezing winds and colds night, but they have adapted. A real problem would happen if the winters stop coming, northern cities would have to change their approach in dealing with situations, and businesses that thrive on colder seasons would naturally get out of businesses. A great change that would cause all northern cites to chance do to the raising temperature warming up the winter would have to be massive, due to the imbalance of the temperature of the on the top halve of the United States, the bottom would feel a great number of effects. Providing possibility’s will only increase the mentality of the population, to make their own desitons to live there own way. The population of Deerfield from 2000-2013 has only increased less the one percentage, not increasing the potential of further development for a larger population, and the income of the city. The average age of a male is around 43 of age, and price of a home is about 3 to 4 time more than the average of Illinois, Deerfield is accentually a suburb.
