I believe Cowgirl Chocolates should discontinue its product Hot Caramel Dessert Sauce. The reason being it only accounts for 10% of the company’s sells. On top of not selling that good, Marilyn has taken time from working on other things for her business to travel to make the sauce when it does not even bring that much profit in. While the other option Marilyn has is to use that other manufacturer to produce the sauce which requires a big commitment from Cowgirl Chocolate to purchase either 432 or 864 jars just at one time, and who’s to say the sales do not increase and then they are stuck with all of these jars. Unless they choose to focus strongly on this product and figure out ways to promote the sauce and sales it would not be realistic
