With many opportunities to get involved, many are peer activities to help get to know each other. They offer disability services, peer tutoring, academics advising, learning strategies course, and even offer a schedule tailored to you and your learning capabilities. Disability services offer housing and academic accommodations; peer tutoring is usually one hour a week of tutoring with another student; academic advising offers help with testing and how to create a better testing environment. They help with time management and organizational skills; and the learning strategy course is more of a discussion type class to discuss goals, your learning style, and the best way for you to study (Center).
While it is important to get the most out of the college experience, price and admissions matter too. “Tuition and fees cost $26,860, [with the additional cost of] $8,810 of room and board. Eighty-two percent of full time undergraduates receive some kind of need-based financial aid[-]this average of need-based scholarship or grant award is $16,175” (Cornerstone). In order to apply, Cornerstone also needs an SAT/ACT score, and an essay stating your faith is needed.
