One of the agencies that offer either free or low cost services from immigration services, family services, English classes and other services that are important for these families and children in the process of reunification is Catholic Charities. I going to take for example Texas, which is the states where most of the Unaccompanied migrant children reunified with their families approximately 117,000 children from 2010 - 2015 and the numbers increase by 2016. Googling Catholic Charities only appears to be 16 agencies in different cities in Texas that may be able to assist 117,000 children in different ways discuss before. By creating a map and pointing out the most common states and cities where families are located social workers may be able to create other helping agencies close to them or at least easy to access. As indicated in the journal by A. Hillier “The primary mission of the social work profession is to enhance human well-being and help meet the basic human needs of all people, with particular attention to the needs and empowerment of people who are vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty” (National Association of Social Workers, 1999).
