1. Taking the results of this study into consideration, what would you, as a health professional, tell a patient that asks if they should consider CAM treatments for their breast cancer?
As a health professional I will not recommend breast cancer patient to use CAM therapy as a supplemental for systemic treatments because the CAM therapy will not change the events of the breast cancer disease to patient. Also, the CAM therapy will not help patient to become better due to the studies which shows that there weren’t any signs of improvement with breast cancer patients by using CAM therapies. The patient should take the best treatment which shows positive outcome to reduce complications of the disease and support the main object which is healing.
