This is also a response to the shift in scope and complexity of the country’s Certified Public Accountant exam. In the beginning of fall of 2017 semester, students will be seeing a program headed by Marilyn Stansbury - the director of the Master of Accounting (MAcc) program.
According to Cheryl Brandsen, the provost of Calvin College, the addition of MAcc is aligned with the college’s plan, as reported by Michigan Live. Brandsen explains that the college wants to implement new programs that are aligned with the school’s mission.
