Burger Paints
Berger has now become one of the largest paint manufacturers in Pakistan. In 1950, it started its operation in Pakistan, importing premium products from UK and established image as the first organized paint Company. In 1974, Burger Paints Pakistan Limited became a public limited company. They entered into the technical collaborations with leading manufacturers like Japan which allow them to paint on automotive, Malaysia for road coats, UK for powder coverings, for bumper paints Japanese company.

Strengths and Weaknesses within Berger
Berger has a very skilled labour force which has increased their efficiency, they have reduced labour costs saving revenues for them, also their growth rate is amazing not only in Pakistan it has become a global brand. Even in India massive advertising and promotions are done. Within the company where they lack in the research and development R & D they are spending a lot, they have weak online presence which results in loss of opportunities. Large inventories they have are also creating problems for them. They can lose control easily. Communication is very important where they lack.
Progress in real estate is on the rise Berger is enjoying boom in the business, if there will be a decline sales growth in painting products will also be affected. Consumers lack of knowledge about the huge range of services Berger is proving them is also a weakness. They need to be informed. The energy crisis in Pakistan which has no permanent solution plus the cost is increasing day by day is becoming a major threat for Berger in the process of decision making. …show more content…
• Acquirement of small firms who have a prospective customer base
• They should sponsor events and contests in doing so they can make a strong recall in the mind-sets of customers.
• Sale system should be reorganized, well communication with the distribution channels can bring good reforms in the company. They lack in communication with the painters, if they have any problems Berger should solve it as soon as possible.
• In inventory management they should increase competence, by using zero inventory ideas to decrease cost by carrying adequacy in sales.
• Colours attract people’s attention specially when we talk about kids, Berger should launch such game activities which can force them to participate.
• There is a need of reward system in the company teams are supposed to get gifts and points in this way they can raise the morale by encouraging their efforts.
• It’s a premium brand focusing urban markets, there is a need to go and do market research about the rural areas, their local markets, what they demand. A company should spread its wings and deal with the entire majority and for them rural areas should never be
