This company for the las four years had performed well financially, but recent slowdowns in the economy and an increase in competition in this industry had forced Boca Electronic to take another look at the way it operated its business. Ron Butler manager at Boca Electronic was responsible for ordering raw materials and ensuring that their delivery was on time. Ron often found himself scrambling to meet large production’s needs. He felt this was a lack of communication between his department and the sales force. He had a difficult time to synchronize with suppliers and lead times and products price.
