Biola University was founded in 1908, in the heart of South California. It is located near
Orange and Los Angeles counties, twenty five miles from the beach. Disneyland and Knott’s berry farm are closer. Biola is ranked as one of the safest communities in the region. More than six thousand three hundred students enroll at the La Mirada campus. Offer over 40 majors and

Biola is spread across ninety five acres. They have a fall and spring semester they also give you the option of taking classes in January. They have an gym- swimming complex with a short-course Olympic pool, six tennis courts, softball and baseball fields, basketball and sand volleyball courts, an archery range, a fitness center, turf soccer field surrounded by a jogging track. They compete in NAIA and Golden State Athletic Conference.

Liberal Arts and Communication, Math, Sciences and Natural Resources They have a campus theater, weight room, gym, tennis and sand volleyball courts. They also have free bus transportation and parking. Tuition for residents is about $2,027, out of state is $4,431, international students is $5,187. They have three locations one in Benton county, in Lebanon, and Sweet home. They offer Women volleyball, women’s and men’s basketball, and men’s baseball. Achieving the Dream is a non-profit organization to help college students with low income and students of color to stay in school and be able to earn their certificate or their degree.
