Angela Khan Norton “Compassionate, realist, Intrinsic Motivated, and extroverted.” Just one of the few words Angela Khan Norton has described about herself. Angela Khan Norton is a small business owner and a marketing consultant. It was 1 clock in the afternoon on a Tuesday when I was heading to meet Angela at her business office. When I walked in I could feel a busy and working environment. Angela was a 5’3 forty-four years old Indian Lady who had beautiful brown eyes with an ebony black hair and glossy skin. She was wearing a black dress that was tailored to her body. The office looked very clean and the desk was organized with a big calendar with important dates around each date of the month. She said, “when she got her associates degree because she didn’t think it was possible working a 60-hour work week and going to school in the U.S. for the first time.” As soon as she told me that, I sensed how strong her mindset was. Even though she had a bunch of excuses to give up she kept going and finished it out. Then I asked her who her Idol was growing up and why. Angela said, “It is my mom because she has always been my hero because she was a single mom taking care of three children of her own.” She was very passionate about answering this question. Growing up without a father figure did not make an impact on her at all. During the interview she received a phone call and denied it immediately. Which showed a sign of respect and professionalism? As I continued I began asking who is a person she would like to meet one day and why? She said “Indra Nooyi because of her revolutionary thinking regarding business strategy’s.” Indra Nooyi is an Indian America business executive and the Chief Executive Officer of Pepsi Co. A fun fact is that I did not know even who she was and just being around her, I began learning new thing. Next, I asked if she feels different from other people and if she does why and what way. Angela had a moment of silence before answering my question and said “Yes, culturally because I was raised with traditional values. Traditional values are looked down upon today.” Which was
