Alvin is a 66-year-old male who suffers from Stage IV colon cancer, kras wild, (C18.2), with peritoneal carcinomatiosis and malignant ascites. Alvin was previously treated with Fulfox, avistin, folfuri and Erbitux but tolerated it poorly, along with a surgery for resection. Due to his advancing age and disease state, Alvin is currently unable to tolerate IV chemotherapy. Xeloda (capecitabine) should be considered the reference treatment in this setting based on consistently high efficacy and good tolerability. Xeloda (capecitabine) is a cancer medicine that interferes with the growth of cancer cells and slows their spread in the body. Alvin needs a more combative therapy. Xeloda (capecitabine) is his best treatment option at this time. Without
