Sex outside God’s boundaries will eventually bring disappointment.” I agree with him, having sex out of marriage brings several disappointments: the disappointment that you will never be able to give yourself to your future spouse fully, that you have taken away that right that they have and given it to someone else. Do not think of it as a chore, but rather that you have the opportunity to do. Don’t let your kids find out from a stranger and receive the wrong information. Start early and be the first to tell them. Set an example that other future parents can follow. You might not be a parent right now, but you might be in the future remember that they need to hear this information from you. I pray that you would talk to your kids and have them understand what sex is and what it means to you. I pray that you will start to create a difference in your community and in your churches. The video, Doing the Right Thing group Bible study by Charles Colson, Brit Hume, reminded me how morally and spiritually bankrupt our society has become. Greed and corruption run rampant among our business, schools, government, homes, and sadly, even our schools. Pride and greed tend to work together in the lives of many people, leading to divorce, neglect, addictions, theft, and many other immoral actions. Chuck Colson gave an excellent explanation of self-righteousness when he stated, “self-righteousness is the belief that you are so good that you can’t be compromised” (Colson, 2012).…

The teens pregnancy is not a new occurrence in our society, however, the perception of American society on this topic changed in the last century. Until late 1800’s, main concern about pregnant teen was to be married before baby was born and most of states codes allowed girls as young as 12 to do so (Teen Pregnancy, 2008). However, due to living condition, poor diet and diseases, most of teen girls did not reach physical maturity until late teens which limited number of early pregnancies. In 1900’s, the changes in law resulted in decreased rate of early marriage and pregnancy, until 1940s to 1960s when rate of teens pregnancy drastically increased (to about 70-80 births per 1000). In 1970s to 1990s, with girls reaching puberty in an younger age and increased numbers of people postponing marriage (due to increasing divorce rate, reliable contraceptive methods, seeking education) more single females become mothers.…
