Once ODE notifies you of your selection for the committee, the testing contractor will send an invitation via email. Upon receipt of the invitation, you will RSVP by accepting or declining.
The test contractor will reimburse committee members for their mileage to and from the meeting location at the state travel expense rate. They also provide hotel rooms for committee members who live over 45 miles from the meeting location. Committee members are responsible for their own meals, without reimbursement.
In addition, the test contractor reimburses school districts for the cost of a substitute teacher for each day of committee work. Committee members not paid by their district while attending the meeting may accept a stipend of $75 per day.
