Case Study 72-Year-Old Patient With MRSA Bacteria Procedure

The patient is a 72-year-old gentleman was recently discharged from the hospital after being treated for MRSA bacteremia. Workup a TEE was negative gallium scan did not show any infection. At the time of discharge he had a macular erythematous rash which was fading. He was sent to the rehabilatation the rash gotten worse and it seemed his skin was peeling. He was referred back to the hospital. He been started on Vancomycin prior to his discharge and now presents with this rash. He denied any fever, chills,had some cough but nothing pominent. His medical history is significant for atrial fibrillation, diabetes, hypertension renal failure, he is on end-stage renal disease on dialysis and he is also on Coumadin for his afib.
