At the commencement, all the "Capitalist Roaders" from the town, according to official level, from high to low, was called one by one. A high papered bamboo stick hat was put on each one 's head. They were divided into several rows, stood on the platform. Paper hats had many styles, round, flat, tall or short, different color. Some hat had a thine, tall, colorful tassel on top, swayed wildly; some with two large pig ears, as a funny clown, amused, could not hold back a smile. Some of the hats were high up as three to four feet. Each hat had the people 's names and “Overthrow the Capitalist Roaders” big black characters. Critical speeches at the general assembly meeting were indignation. Unceasingly, some people leaded shouting slogans, chanted loudly. Intervention lasted for several hours.
