Reason for Visit: Left Knee and Ankle Strain
S: TM works in trim T1-15R when she injured her left knee and left ankle. According to TM she stepped on a door ring that was on the door and her foot twisted and she was about to fall but she caught herself but ended up twisting her left knee. TM rated her left ankle pain is 0/10 but her left knee pain is at 7/10. She describes her left knee pain as aching pain to her lateral knee. After 20 minutes of knee, TM reports her knee pain was 0/10. Reports previous injury to the left knee – as a child.
O: Left Knee: Left Knee: no malalignment, no atrophy, mild swelling of the knee, no discoloration, mild warmth to the lateral knee; no effusion palpated. Reports tenderness to lateral knee with palpation.
