Case Report: Domestic Violence

On 04/16/2017 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispatched to 20105 South 257th West Aveune for a domestic compalint. I spoke to Robin Horton who stated her 15 year old daughter Heaven Horton was out of control.

Heaven was arguing with Robin and grabbed a box cutter and went to the front yard. Heaven used the box cutter to cut her left wrist. The cuts on Heaven's wrist were small and not serious injuries. Heaven was locked inside the bathroom and would not open the door. At this time I had to kick open the door to gain access to the bathroom. Creek County arrived on scene and transported Heaven to St. John's Sapulpa.

I spoke to Issac Horton, who stated he wanted to make a report about Heaven and the boy she was dating who was Damon Andrews who is 21 years old. Issac stated Heaven has been seeing Damon for about a year. Issac stated he was told by his oldest son that Heaven and Damon having sex. I asked Issac why he waited so long to make a report. Heaven was also having mental health issues and was harming herself. Robin and Issac have not provided Heaven with the mental health care she needed. Robin stated she wanted the police to tak her to the juvenile jail or get Heaven into counseling. Robin and Issac were advised that was the job of the parents to provide. Robin and Issac were advised they needed to file a report with the Bristow Police Department for the alleged sex with Damon who is 21 years old. Robin provided statements and also a binder with letters written by Heaven. Robin and Issac failed to report the alleged sexual relations and illegal drug use to the proper authorities.
