Jerry Fagliano and colleagues found a dose-response relationship for the mothers and kids—cancer risks were low for those who did not drink tap water, in between if there is a few glasses of tap water, and high for those who drank five glasses of cup water or more. The strength of this evidence was the case and control families shared similar factors (e.g., similar diets, used nail polish, and pesticides).
