Patrick Lafferty DC Manager is in charges of the safe operation of forklift trucks have displayed a significant health and safety concern for the forklift operator and associates working in the same sector. According to OSHA, approximately 85 fatal accidents and 34,900 accidents that result in serious injury are caused by forklifts in the United States every year (Haderspeck, 2014).

Problem Statement
The employees are not following mandated warehouse safety rules for forklift conditions. Consequently, the safety rule is not being enforced, which has created several accidents that have resulted in significant physical injuries, employees missing wages, medical costs, damaged inventory costs, delayed deliveries, and customer

The forklift will need to have a lifted cylinder, a tilt cylinder, Rating Plate for the forklift operator on the cargo capacity and the Counter Weight that is placed on the opposite side of the forks to stability the cargo.

Overview of Alternatives
Therefore, the report will employ a solution to warehouse safety concerns that decrease forklift accidents:

• Alternative A: Disciplinary Action: The manager will hold the license for the person involved for a particular period; they will fire employees who are not following safety rules or require mandatory retraining, and they will implement safety team to enforce discipline actions.
• Alternative B: Revised Handbook: A revised handbook with specific guidelines for forklift safety and disciplinary action. Have the monthly training meeting to prevent an accident, address warehouse behavior and safety rules in the morning session, and separate forklift drivers with the barrier to pedestrian workers.

Alternative B –The company employee handbook set Policy for communicating to the client will change, consumer trust that their business is important and that company respected their business.

Cost to Employee: 1. Alternative A –Following the termination of the employee no longer has the job, it will cost their family cut out all extra expense of sports, music uniforms, art supplies, no longer having health, life, retirement insurance could cost significant amount money if some get hurt the medical overwhelming expenses.

2. Alternative B –The effects on an employee when revising the employee handbook will have each policy that describes the rules and discipline action. Discipline process can affect employee with lower wage, unpaid suspension, and retraining that distinctly stated in the handbook outlines the disciplinary action.
