Summary On December 14, 20012, Adam Lanza killed six adults and twenty children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut. He had killed his mother, Nancy Lanza, earlier in the house they shared together. Adam Lanza committed suicide while the police were approaching the school. Sandy Hook is listed as the third deadliest mass shooting in US history as of date.
