PlayStation4 v Xbox One
Sony Computers released the PlayStation 4 (PS4) on November 15, 2013. On the first day of sales in the United States Sony reported over 1 million dollars in sales. The major competitor of this gaming system is the Microsoft Xbox One. The release of the Xbox One console system sold more than 1 million in less than 24 hours. This has been the fastest selling console in the history of Microsoft gaming systems The release of these two computer gaming systems launched a fight for consumers in both the United States and globally. Each of these systems has its own unique design but also has some similarities. Consumers today are able to review and contrast the costs, specifications (Specs.), durability, and versatility of the gaming system to previously purchased games.
There is a cost comparison of the two systems. On the release of the two units the PS4 was appealing to the consumer with an average of $100 dollars lower in price. Selling at the PS4 at the cost of $399 the consumer could purchase quicker than the Xbox One at

The Xbox One has bigger dimensions measuring 13.5 x 10.4 x 3.2 inches with a lot of vents, whereas the PS4 is more cabinet friendly with 10.8 x 12 x 2 inches and weighing 2.75 kg compared to the 3.56 of the Xbox One. Now the PS4 comes in a white and special edition gray for a PS1 retro look. No announcement has been made for any skins for the Xbox One. The PS4 comes with a 500GB HD that is upgradable the Xbox one also has a 500 GB HD but it is none upgradable. With each having 8 GBs of RAM load times seam relatively close. What sets them apart is the graphics the PS4 has a sharper picture when running at 1080p with an easy 60 frame rate per second. Xbox One can run games at 1080p but at a cost to the fps it will run at 60 fps but is not locked in when there is a lot to load at once gamers will experience a drop in fps while the graphics try to keep
