British American Tobacco is the 2nd biggest transnational tobacco manufacturing company based in the UK. BAT has a large market presence in countries such as Brazil, Canada and former British colonies in Asia such as Pakistan and Australia. It also holds a 42% interest in Reynolds American (NYSE:RAI), thereby having an important amount of indirect exposure to the U.S. market. According to Business Premiere, (BAT) has established a strong market position over the years with the use of Global Drive Brands such as Dunhill, Kent, Rothmans, Lucky Strike and Pall Mall brands.
